If your intentions are pure…

I came across this book, at a second hand bookshop. And among all the books that I could have picked up randomly, if was this book called God-Shaped Hole.
The God-Shaped hole is in all of us. We fill it up with things that may or may not hurt us. Some do drugs to fill it up, some drink their cares away, and some destroy themselves with unsaid words.
I saw a relationship crumble today, how it disintegrated before my very eyes. Terrible words were said, but the ones that needed to be said were not. Why do people do the things that they hate? Hurt the ones that they love, bringing out the worse in them. I wonder what fills up their emptiness…the one that’s so vast it consumes them.
Maybe somehow, somewhere down the road, things might change, and that empty place within them ceases to hurt.
Maybe one day, the stars in the night sky would show again
I opened the first page, and in it, a song…
If your intentions are pure,
I am seeking for a friend
Until the end of time…

What does this mean?

I spent almost RM 300 today. Feels good man…

Want to know what I bought? Come and see me in two weeks, and see the difference in my face.

That’s all I am saying :P

In other events that unfolded today, I came across this sign on the UiTM bus today, and had NO idea what it meant. Do you? If you don’t it’s ok, because good suggestions are welcomed :)

Face the Fish

Are you up for it? Can you Face the Fish? Is your stomache up for it? The mother of all digestive problems comes from no other than your nearest Dining hall in college. Be prepared…be amazed. The squid comes with bones, and the fish has scales. The prawns are all heads, and the spinach is all sand.

Wonder no more where you got that appendititis from. It’s all from your nearest unfriendly neighbourhood Dining Hall…

(watch this area for a recent photo of my impending dinner and lunch)

Comments are open into how I can spike the WORKERS food with sand and squid bones as soon as I get the photo up and running.

Until then…here’s me signing off…

Live for the moment – Dance in the rain

I think in my heart of hearts, I’ve always wanted to do what I did. There’s something so tactile about it, it’s adrenaline rush. What? What u think I’m talking about?

Well, I’m talking about the rain. You would think that living in a tropical country, you wuld get wet in the rain a whole lot of times. But ask the average person, and it is not the case. People go to great lengths not to get wet. They carry umbrellas, the motorcyclists stop to shelter under overhead bridges, and students in UiTM would rather stay in their faculties until oast 6 in the evening to avoid getting wet from the rain. At least…the’s what I would do.

Until today that is. B convinced me to redah the rain instead of wasting all of our time waiting for the rain to stop/ And knowing Malaysian rain, it could only get worse. So we took a deep breath and ran.

I think it made me really happy. Something about rain flowng down your skin. It feels really liberating. I soon became conscious of my shoes, squishing and it felt really uncomfortable.Refusing to let it hamper me fun, I took them off and walked barefoot.

Which made it even more freeing.

Something about the rain has always amazed me. It’ll put you into a certain mood. There are times when I catch myself staring out the window, trying to see myself in every raindrop. Hypnotizing…

Next time it rains, don’t be too hasty to get out of it. Don’t worry so much about the impending sickness you are going to get. For once…live for the moment.

After the Island…

Sand between my toes, the sea breeze in my hair. The smell of salt and sound of coconut trees ringing in my ears. Things cannot get any better. People say that one would need a vacation after a vacation…and I can see why. Reality hits you so hard. Smog in your nostrils, dust on your face, and starless skies. Yes, I think I need another vacation…soon.
